I am an Earth science researcher working currently at ETH Zürich as a Marie Skłodowska Curie fellow. I obtained my PhD degree at the Laboratoire de Geologie de Lyon at Ecole Normal Superieur de Lyon in France. Using numerical and analytical methods I am studying how interior of the Earth works today and back deep in time. During my scientific career I have been working on understanding the thermal evolution of the Earth soon after its formation as well as understanding the interconnection between surface and deep processes on Earth, linking the motion of plates with what is happening beneath. In parallel, I have been working on generation and propagation of tsunamis due to volcanic activity such as explosions, caldera collapses or pyroclastic flows.
